Cognitive development studies tell us that young kids learn most from playing, therefore our Hive Jr. program is designed to let the players experiment and have fun. There is almost no repetitive drill work or running for the sake of running in this program. The players will stay engaged through games, challenging tasks for their age, and constant interaction with our expert coaches. Our club culture is one of inclusion and participation so everyone gets to play and enjoy themselves.

Everything your child needs to get started is included in your club registration fees with the exception of shoes and shin guards. They will get a hockey stick, a ball, a uniform and a mouth guard. New players will be required to sign up with USA Field Hockey at their website. This insures each player is covered with insurance as well as allows them to play in any sanctioned events.
